Visiting Lecturer, Construction Innovation – University of Reading
Tony is a Chartered Engineer with a Doctorate from the Technologies for Sustainable Built Environments Centre at the University of Reading. Tony has been in the industry for 15 years and has held roles at contractors and NHBC prior to joining Midland Heart in 2018 where he is Head of Construction, Quality and Innovation. Tony played a key role in founding “Project 80” which is a research programme lead by Midland Heart in partnership with BCU and key industry partners which explores different approaches to modelling (and evaluating) the Future Homes Standard across multiple sites between now and 2025. In addition, Tony is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Reading where he teaches innovation in construction; and, he also works with a number of professional bodies and sits on industry groups including BSI and CABE.
