Thomas Vazakas, Head of Sustainability, Cushman & Wakefield
Thomas has extensive experience in building and managing successful teams and client relationships. As a Chartered Engineer, Thomas has wide ranging experience with specialist technical knowledge of energy and sustainability assessments in the built environment.
Thomas advises a variety of clients on energy saving opportunities and sustainable design on both new and operational buildings. Thomas has great experience in designing and implementing Net Zero strategies and decarbonisation paths for all building types.
He has also been developing and managing Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) strategies for large institutional investors and corporate occupiers with the primary objective to embed proactive sustainability management practices across their business activities from asset management strategies through to site-specific programme development, enabling clients to realise their long-term environmental ambitions and targets. This has included developing energy demand and carbon emission reduction pathways for Net Zero at corporate, portfolio and asset level.
