Steve Hornblow, Head of Special Projects for NW Bicester at A2Dominion Housing Group
Steve has 25 years’ public and private sector development experience delivering affordable and private sale housing schemes across the South East. Employed by A2Dominion Group for over 10 years, he has been instrumental in the development of the UK’s first eco-town at NW Bicester, Oxfordshire, since its inception over 10 years ago.
Steve led both the design and planning teams to develop the pioneering first phase of NW Bicester, Elmsbrook, in line with the Government’s strict planning policy for eco-towns, as well as acting as a champion and spokesperson for the flagship development.
Steve is also instrumental in the project management of a Masterplan for wider NW Bicester, which over the next 30 years will provide up to 6,000 highly energy efficient homes, supporting facilities and infrastructure built to high environmental standards, with 40% green space and the creation of up to 6,000 new jobs.
