Mark Whettall, Managing Director, CPV Ltd
Now in his third decade of working at the heart of the UK’s heat networks sector, Mark Whettall is at the helm of CPV Ltd, a Hampshire-based company founded in 1949 as the Chemical Pipe and Vessel Company. As its name suggests, the company had its roots in the chemical sector, but as a pioneer in the extrusion of polymer pipes, the company moved into the production of pre-insulation pipe systems in the early 1980s. These pipe systems for heating and cooling networks form the core of the company’s activities and innovation has been a constant factor in its success. Prior to joining CPV in 2001, Mark held roles with pipe specialist Durapipe Ltd.
