Lynne Sullivan OBE, LSA Studio, board member Passivhaus Trust and the Green Construction Board and Chair of the Good Homes Alliance
Lynne Sullivan is a practising Architect and founded sustainableBYdesign, finalists in all three 2010-2012 BRE-sponsored UK Passivhaus prototype Housing Competitions. Previously Lynne was Sustainability Director for 9 years at Broadway Malyan, and for 10 years Associate Director at ECD Architects, where she was co-author and winner of the UK’s first government-sponsored Zero CO2 housing competition.
Lynne is now a design consultant and Visiting Professor, sits on local and national design review panels, and has authored and chairs a number of policy review and research projects for UK governments and others. Her research and writing includes chairing the Expert Panel for the Scottish Government to produce “A Low Carbon Building Standards Strategy for Scotland”; authoring and chairing a number of projects for Zero Carbon Hub including the Ventilation and Indoor Air Quality Taskgroup and the Performance Gap (Design group); chairing two reviews of energy efficiency regulations for the Building Regulations Advisory Committee; and most recently chairing the Buildings Mission 2030 Taskgroup for the CLC’s Green Construction Board. She was awarded an OBE for services to Architecture in 2011, is Chair of the Good Homes Alliance, and a member of the Green Construction Board since its inception.
