Dr Viktoria Spaiser, Associate Professor in Sustainability Research, University of Leeds
Viktoria Spaiser is an Associate Professor in Sustainability Research and Computational Social Science at the School of Politics and International Studies, University of Leeds. At Leeds she is affiliated with the Priestley International Centre for Climate. She has a background in sociology, psychology, political science and computer science and has worked as a researcher in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom. In 2021 she has received the UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship award, which allows her to pause University teaching to pursue her research on how we can accelerate social change in response to the climate crisis. She is also an Alan Turing Institute Fellow, using data science, machine learning and AI in her climate politics research.
