David Haimes MCIOB David has considerable experience in capital delivery, strategic transformational change programmes, asset development and process improvement projects within client organisations. He was part of the Manchester Airport Group (MAG) leadership team for 10 years, during which, he lead on constructing, buying, and selling of airports as well as transforming their operation. He acted as Programme Director on the Airport City (£850m) property development and as PMO Director for the Manchester Airport Transformation Programme, looking after £1bn of capital expenditure. As the Regional Investment Programme North Director for National Highways (NH), David was accountable for the delivery of over £8bn of schemes in the Midlands, Northwest, and Yorkshire Northeast. He was one of the architects of the Regional Delivery Partnership framework and lead on National Highways response to UK Government’s Project Speed Initiative initially through the £1bn A66 Northern Trans Pennine Upgrade and then via NH’s Delivery Acceleration Programme which is cited as “best in class” by the Infrastructure Projects Authority. David, now acting as an independent consultant, is supporting numerous organisations to enhance value and achieve their strategic goals David is a Chartered Member of the Institute of Building (MCIOB) which supported an early career working for Tier 1 Contractors.
