With a background is building design, planning, implementation and policymaking, Chris Twinn runs his own practice after 28 years with Arup as director & Arup Fellow. The premise behind much of his work is that a more efficient built-environment should use less natural resources and in turn deliver sustainability at less than business-as-usual costs. His projects span the world, with many firsts, including zero carbon and extra-low resource use prototypes, as well Eco-city masterplanning. Chris has been and is a wide range of design review panels, including Design Council: CABE and Historic England Urban panel and is a frequent Chatham House contributor.
