Ben Westerman, Head of Policy, Aldersgate Group
Ben is Head of Policy at the Aldersgate Group, an alliance of businesses championing a competitive and environmentally sustainable economy. He is responsible for Aldersgate’s work covering industrial decarbonisation, energy, green finance, skills and productivity, and several other areas of the green economy, and sits on Government’s Green Jobs Delivery Group, Green Technical Advisory Group and Transition Plan Taskforce. Prior to joining Aldersgate, Ben worked with the British Chambers of Commerce and Green Alliance on climate and net zero issues, and as an adviser to the Labour Party in Westminster.
