About UK Export Finance
UK Export Finance (UKEF) is the UK government’s export credit agency (ECA). Its mission is to advance prosperity by ensuring no viable UK export fails for lack of finance or insurance, doing that sustainably and at no net cost to the taxpayer.
In 2021 – 2022, £7.4 billion was provided to exporters of all sizes, with £33.4 billion provided over the last five years. 81% of the companies supported directly with a UKEF product were SMEs and 83% of companies supported were based outside of London.
