On average, a female-founded business receives £644,000 in total funding, compared to a staggering £4.34 million for a solely male-owned organisation. There are plenty of excellent startups and ideas formed by women in the built environment, but ideas without funding don’t go far. The data also tells us that female-lead start ups have a greater success rate when back up with VC. Join us on International Women’s Day to help bridge the gap between talented female innovators, and the funders who can help bring their impactful products to market.
