Heat networks have the potential to play a significant role in the UK’s transition to net zero. In this session, we explore what is needed to accelerate the growth of heat networks in the UK. We will explore the role of markets and the public sector; heat regulation, consumer protection and zoning; leveraging private sector investment; tariff structures and pricing; and de-risking heat network investments in the project development process.
