GridBuddy Combo Power Storage Solution

Share product:

Introducing GridBuddy Combo—an all-encompassing power storage solution that seamlessly blends cutting-edge hybrid inverter technology with a PO4 lithium battery. Designed specifically for the UK new-build market, GridBuddy Combo stands out as a ‘plug and play’ product, streamlining installations for large-scale rollouts while catering to varying home sizes.

GridBuddy Combo is available in two models tailored for different housing needs: a 2.5kW inverter with a 2KWh battery for 4-6 panels, and a 3.6kW inverter with a 3.84kWh battery for 4-9 panels. Its sleek, space-saving design incorporates a built-in DC isolator and battery isolator, ensuring a hassle-free and cost-effective installation process.

The Sunsynk Connect app, an award-winning, user-friendly companion, facilitates remote troubleshooting and empowers homeowners to effortlessly schedule and monitor their energy consumption. To enhance safety, the GridBuddy system integrates the GL multi-sensor alarm and alarm control switch, providing optimal safety and peace of mind for homeowners with energy storage systems housed in lofts.

As the energy landscape evolves, the GridBuddy Combo range stands at the forefront of innovation. While solar power is established, the incorporation of industry-wide battery storage in new-build homes is a relatively new frontier, and GridBuddy Combo pioneers this shift.

Combining a hybrid inverter and built-in battery, aligns perfectly with the demand for products tailored to carbon-zero new-build homes. Its adaptability, simplified installation process, and cost-effectiveness make it an ideal choice for developers aiming for high SAP ratings and levering change in the industry.

The system is expandable, allowing homeowners to add extra batteries based on their evolving energy needs. This forward-thinking approach not only maximizes storage through overnight tariffs but also shields against expensive peak tariffs.
