Our Engineering team are looking to appoint a Senior Mechanical Engineer, based at our
head office in Macmerry, on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Reporting to the Head of
Engineering the role will be pivotal in the definition, ideation, development and launch of
new and modified products.
You will be an experienced engineer with a sound knowledge of thermodynamics, heat
transfer and thermal properties of materials and manufacturing processes. Working
experience of 3D Modelling using Autodesk or equivalent is also essential and you would
ideally understand PCM and their use for heat storage.
Degree and above qualified in a relevant engineering discipline, ideally chartered status, you
will have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in a similar field, with an understanding of
grant funded projects.
The role would be suited to a candidate working in a mid-senior level engineering role, with
the ability and also desire to lead teams during a period of rapid growth and change.
