We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Cookstown team (NI), focusing on product development for the Energy, Renewables, Water & Wastewater sectors. Projects include district heating, chemical dosing systems, and water/wastewater treatment technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design products for water, wastewater, and energy industries. - Create design data including 2D drawings, calculations, BOM, equipment schedules, P&ID diagrams, control philosophies, and component specifications. - Utilize Solidworks & AutoCAD for designs and fabrication drawings. - Build and maintain professional client relationships with effective communication. - Track and monitor information exchanges per ISO 90001. - Collaborate with the Engineering Department to deliver high-quality products. - Conduct quality checks on products. - Develop risk assessments and method statements. - Liaise with the construction team for correct plant delivery and installation. - Commission equipment.

Essential Criteria
• Minimum 2.2 Honours degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a related product design or engineering subject.
• Minimum of 3 years post-graduation relevant experience in a similar role
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable as the role will involve travel, the majority of which will be in the UK and Ireland.
• Proficient in 3D CAD software, including the ability to generate complex 3D CAD assemblies and drawings.
• Experience working with Solidworks.
• A full current driving licence and access to a car.
• Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
-Proficient in MS Applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Project

Desirable Criteria
• Experience working in water & wastewater industries.
• Experience working in fabrication environments.
• 3 year’s or more post-graduate relevant experience.
• Knowledge chemical dosing systems.
