What’s great, is that you won’t just be behind a desk dealing with supplier via phone and email but you will get to visit suppliers which will give you the opportunity to truly flex the your relationship building skills. You will source from supplier domestically in the UK, as well as looking to expand our profile in the European and Asian markets.
Ideally you will be from a construction background with a knowledge of the wide range products you would be sourcing (Steel Reinforcements, Construction Accessories, Services and Contractors). You’ll be someone who is confident in communicating with experience in negotiating on prices to get the best deal possible. As well as your experience in procurement your knowledge of supply and demand, lead times and 3PL and 4PL will be advantageous.
