Planarific is an AI software company creating technology solutions for the built environment. Founded in 2022 as a University of Cambridge spin-out, our founder has a strong root in architecture and urban design and developed key technology to address some of the most pressing issues in retrofit and building stock improvement. Our expertise is in three areas.
1.Scalable analytics on 3D geometry data to extract valuable insights from existing built environment.
2.User-friendly visualization and interaction tools for 3D models to reach non-professional users.
3.Using proprietary generative-AI to create designs ready for construction procurement.
With Innovate UK funding, our current activities focus on accelerating and scaling up retrofitting in the UK’s social and private rented housing. Our streamlined assessment process, focusing on property geometry and features, empowers housing associations and private landlords to quickly assess options and take action.
However, our longer-term goal is set beyond retrofit. With our technology, we can do a lot more. We are currently exploring use cases of our core technology in home improvement, planning and landscape design.
