Sunand Prasad, Principal, Penoyre & Prasad
Sunand co-founded Penoyre & Prasad in 1988 and has played a central role in the design, procurement, and delivery of over 300 projects across commercial and public sectors. He is committed to engaging with the wider design and construction industry, providing thought leadership on issues such as the circular economy and co-creation, and has led the studio’s innovative approach to patient-centred healthcare architecture. As the former President of RIBA and a London Mayor’s Design Advocate, Sunand has served in several key advisory and policy positions and regularly chairs high-profile Design Review Panels in the UK. He is also the Chair of the UKGBC Board of Trustees, the Advisory Board of the Journal of Architecture, and the Article 25 humanitarian architecture charity, and a specialist advisor to support aspects of the Building Better, Building Beautiful Commission.
