The MCS Quality and Compliance Inspector is responsible for Carrying out forensic investigation and surveillance of the following Primary Measures:
MCS Measures
• Solar Photovoltaic [PV]
• Solar Thermal
• Air Source Heat Pumps
• Ground Source Heat Pumps
• Battery Storage
In addition, subject to appropriate training as required the Senior Quality and Compliance Inspector may be called upon to assist with surveillance of the following insulation measures:
• Cavity wall insulation
• Loft Insulation
• Solid Wall measures
• Room in Roof Insulation
• Underfloor Insulation
• Park Homes Insulation
• Flat Roof Insulation
in accordance with The IAA Best Practice and MCS Guidance, and completing necessary surveillance and audit Trustmark Extension to ensure continued compliance in line with relevant Standards:
• Microgeneration Certification Scheme requirements, as detailed in MCS 001-1, MCS001-2 and MGD 001including Mid and post installation inspections.
• PAS2030 requirements as detailed in PAS2031 including Pre, Post and During installation inspections.
