Steve Peet, Associate, Engenuiti
Steve is an Associate Structural Engineer who enjoys pushing boundaries and creating efficient design solutions across all materials. He has a passion for advanced timber engineering and is central to the development of timber expertise at Engenuiti.
Graduating from the University of Sheffield, he joined Engenuiti in 2013. Steve has worked on over 50 advanced timber and modern methods of construction (MMC) projects across all building sectors including residential, education, sports & leisure, commercial and arts & culture.
In his recent Education projects Steve has implemented a whole-building approach to Mass Timber, helping teams harness the material’s full potential from both a structural and building physics perspective. This includes development of interfaces with acoustics, fire engineering, thermal envelope, durability detailing, MEP coordination whilst showcasing the architectural potential of the material – helping create warm inviting spaces for the students and teachers.
