Pete Winslow, Director, Expedition
Pete is a Director at Expedition Engineering where he co-leads the Infrastructure Innovation team, working closely with several major public infrastructure clients to improve productivity, drive impactful innovation and solve engineering challenges in creative ways. A chartered structural engineer by background, Pete’s engineering design and construction expertise enables him to work with clients to develop scale-able solutions to cost, carbon and programme challengese. His interests span from strategic – e.g. HS2 Productivity Improvement Programme – through to practical change on the ground – e.g. the award-winning Network Rail Low Carbon Platform Renewals project. Pete is heavily involved in several pan-industry efforts to improve infrastructure performance, brining the latest thinking, innovation and research into practice; he sits on the i3P Delivery Leadership Group, the CARES rebar sustainability committee, the IStructE Research Panel, and plays a leading role within ICE/GCB efforts to accelerate delivery of the UK’s Low Carbon Concrete Routemap.
