Dr Jennifer Rudd, Senior Lecturer in Innovation and Engagement, University of Swansea
Dr Jennifer Rudd (she/her) is an academic in the School of Management at Swansea University. She has a technical background in chemistry and engineering across four countries, developing next generation solar panels, water splitting devices and converting carbon dioxide into fuels. Since 2018 she’s been asking the question “Can we teach climate change in a way that effects behavioural change?” and is using her science background to develop communication with wide ranging audiences about climate change. She has worked on circular economy in the public sector, climate change education in primary and secondary schools and is part of the recently formed commission to advise Welsh Government on reaching Net Zero by 2035. Dr Rudd is cis-het-white, autistic, a Christian and a climate activist.
