Cameron McKenzie is the Sustainability Officer at Peabody working alongside the Sustainability Team to push forward Peabody’s Sustainability Strategy and carbon objectives, which include an ambition to achieve net zero carbon in Peabody’s core activities by 2030 and its wider activities by 2050. Cameron has an MSc in Sustainable Energy and Entrepreneurship and a wealth of experience in the energy sector, both public and private. A key part of Cameron’s role is helping Peabody adjust its corporate ethos and practices to make the organisation ‘retrofit ready’ which will include stakeholder engagement and re-education, as well as external engagement to prepare residents for the journey ahead
