Chartered Architect and Convenor of the Trees and Design Action Group
Sue James trained at the Architectural Association and worked in private practice in West Wales focusing on sustainable buildings in context. She has also worked as an urban design consultant. She is a founding member and Convenor of the Trees and Design Action Group, a charitable trust providing open collaborative forum facilitating cross-sector and cross-disciplinary dialogue and projects promoting the role of the urban forest throughout the United Kingdom. She has advised Futurebuild (formerly ecobuild) on content for the conference and seminar programme for many years. The focus of her present work is on the integration and dissemination of research and information for both the built and the natural environment.
