Dimplex are a UK-headquartered international manufacturing company specialising in the design and development of innovative electric heating & ventilation solutions including heat pumps and smart electric thermal storage heating.

At Futurebuild, Dimplex are showcasing the innovative Zeroth Energy System which can enable developers to ensure compliance with Part L, F and O of the building regulations in mixed use and multi-occupancy residential developments.

Zeroth is an in-apartment heat pump, served by a central ambient loop which can be connected to fourth and fifth generation district heat networks. It is one of a range of highly effective and innovative electric solutions which can be modelled in SAP10.2 to comply with Part L and the Future Homes Standard. This range also includes Latitude Monobloc air-source heat pumps for space and water heating in housing developments, and Edel hot water heat pumps which can be paired with direct-acting electric heaters and MVHR for compliance in smaller projects.

At CELSA Steel UK, our Circular Steel Programme is a collaborative service solution that facilitates resource efficiency, material cost benefit and whole life carbon reduction across the construction supply chain. By utilizing our EAF (Electric Arc Furnace) technology in Cardiff, as part of a vertically integrated material supply chain, we have the capacity to transform over 1 million tons of construction & demolition scrap into a valuable resource for new building development.

CELSA Steel UK’s standard reinforcement steel products already offer a Low Carbon EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) and 98% Recycled Content option. However, collaboration with the CELSA Circular Steel initiative can also offer full lifecycle transparency and traceability that delivers on a declaration of material circularity and sets a precedent for supply chain resilience throughout the built environment.

BIPVco

Flextron solar modules are designed to integrate into standing seam and membrane roofs/façades by bonding onto the substrate, resulting in a solar module that is not only functional but also aesthetically pleasing, as it is much less visible than traditional solar.

Flextron solar panels, powered by high-performing CIGS technology-based photovoltaic cells, are super thin-film, flexible, lightweight (3kg per m2) and incredibly durable. These solar modules incorporate a self-cleaning top sheet, making them maintenance-free, multiple internal diodes to minimise power loss from shading, bus bars, and multiple insulating layers fused as a hermetically sealed, robust (shatterproof) and durable module.

Futurebuild has proved very beneficial for our company, particularly the Retrofit section which is only getting bigger and bigger. We have already booked for next year as Futurebuild is growing!

We are a small company trying to gain more visibility, and this is definitely the way to do it. Yesterday, we had some top-quality conversations with people who were not aware of what we could offer them, which provided great exposure for us. We are glad we decided to exhibit.

We are launching in a couple of months, so we came to Futurebuild to gain traction. The audience has been incredible; I've heard that it's better than last year and of higher quality. We are also getting lots of leads, which is great. Connecting with people from different businesses within the built environment industry is valuable, and it’s also a good way to see what others are doing.

Futurebuild brings together a wide range of industries, giving us exposure that we don't get on a day-to-day basis. It's great to see the number of people interested in our stand and products, and the amount of leads we've gathered is truly amazing.

Events like Futurebuild are essential because collaboration is absolutely the key to success.

We came here to showcase our products and create awareness, and we’ve certainly achieved that. It’s quite a diverse audience; you get to meet contractors, architects, designers, and specifiers, which gives us an opportunity to educate people on our message.

Attending Futurebuild has kept me busy! I gathered some solid leads and valuable data, but what truly made the experience exceptional were the engaging conversations I had with various professionals. The insights and connections I gained were invaluable, making the event a great success for me.
