Sunamp’s fourth generation Thermino thermal batteries make homes more energy efficient and sustainable by efficiently storing heat to deliver instant, high flow-rate hot water when needed while reducing carbon emissions. There are four different models available, 70, 150, 210 and 300. They are in litre-equivalent sizes for easy comparison with traditional hot water cylinders.
The Thermino battery range maximises the use of renewable energy by catering for a wide range of energy sources. They can be charged by air source heat pumps, ground source heat pumps, photovoltaics (PV), grid electricity and boilers.
Easy to install, up to four times smaller than the equivalent hot water cylinder and requiring no mandatory annual maintenance, their sleek, super-compact design means they look good in any home and free up valuable storage space.
Thermino is designed to be retrofitted to existing hot water systems or specified for use in new build projects. Modular and scalable, the batteries can be connected in series or in parallel to increase heat storage capacity.
Sunamp designs and manufactures compact heat batteries based on its patented Plentigrade high performance thermal storage technology platform. The Thermino range contains Plentigrade P58 phase change material (PCM) formulation with greater energy density to deliver even more hot water from thermal batteries.
