Structural External Wall Insulation (SEWI)

Share product:

Structherm are renowned for our unique ‘Structural External Wall Insulation’ (SEWI) system which is manufactured at our dedicated factory in West Yorkshire.

The SEWI system is designed to provide a refurbishment solution for difficult to treat, non-traditional properties, including concrete, steel or timber frame buildings, or those deemed structurally defective and are unsuitable to support a standard EWI system. By strengthening and stabilising the buildings, the life expectancy is extended beyond a minimum of 30 years design life.

The SEWI system is also used on High Rise buildings where the panels can span from floor to floor without the need to fix into the external walls which are often unsuitable to support a standard EWI system, offering a superior strength, re-enforced, A2 rated non-combustible solution.
