SNUG is an Energy Efficient Estimator Software tool for domestic properties.
The software exists to help tackle challenges such as helping organisations use ESG data without IT barriers, helping home occupiers save money by using less energy and helping organisations share, analyse and collaborate with property data easier.
Our software is built for the cloud, perfectly aligning to zero architecture and remote working strategies with our services evolving with regular, seamless security and functionality upgrades.
With SNUG we ask one question: “Where do you live?” – which most people know the answer to.
The objective is to quickly estimate a properties energy efficiency metrics, and provide engaging retrofit recommendations to enhance the property and reduce fuel bills. Results are populated immediately, with estimations of property characteristics.
An estimated current and potential EPC score is calculated using a government approved calculator.
Property characteristics can be amended by the user, and a new estimate will be calculated accordingly. The principal is to engage the customer with predictive “magic”, and then the user is compelled to provide accurate information.
If an actual EPC exists in a government register, the score will be displayed here and hopefully encourage users to make informed decisions on property renovations. The unit costs can be altered at a macro level to ensure market rates are reflected.
The SNUG API can provide results for one property or several million, with the estimation algorithm using machine learning to continually improve its accuracy. In terms of coverage, the SNUG software can create EPC estimates on domestic properties in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, and Channel Islands.
Overall, SNUG has the ability to be tailored to any customer requirements, with the main principle aim of using and interrogating EPC information which enables clients to retrieve EPC data on portfolios of properties.
