Following the exciting launch of the Big Retrofit Challenge, Futurebuild, in partnership with Innovate UK and the National Home Decarbonisation Group (NHDG) have received an incredible response so far. Don’t miss out! There is just a limited time left to enter the competition. With the entry deadline set for Thursday 28th November at 11am, now is the time to finalise applications for the chance to shape the future of sustainable and healthy homes across the UK.
The judges are looking for fresh, innovative approaches and solutions that can be scaled and implemented to make a real impact in the retrofit process for existing homes or non-residential properties. Solutions designed for new builds are also welcome, but they must demonstrate applicability to retrofit projects as well. This includes solutions for social housing and local authority retrofitting projects, two critical drivers for decarbonisation in the UK.
Paul Rogers, National Decarbonisation Manager at CLC Group for the NHDG said: “Retrofit can feel daunting, both financially and in terms of disruption. We want to make this process less of a worry and more of a positive experience. In the Big Retrofit Challenge, we are looking for solutions and products that can make healthier homes, free from damp and mould, and installations that are faster, efficient, and minimally disruptive, ultimately adding value to properties while addressing the unique needs of traditional buildings.”
The countdown is on – don’t miss the opportunity to bring your solution to the forefront of home decarbonisation. Submit your application today at The Big Retrofit Challenge.
