Q-Bot

For my final choice, I will nominate a retrofit company as they are the sole providers of the technology: Q-Bot. Tackling insulation to suspended floors has long been the elephant in the retrofit room, as insulating floors at scale is incalculably disruptive. The Q-Bot solution of wheeled drones that are deployed into the floor void to intelligently apply sprayed polyurethane insulation to the underside of the floor brings a hitherto unheard of level of technology and smart working to the retrofit world. The insulation material is perhaps not the most eco-friendly of materials but no doubt this will come as the system evolves. There is nothing comparable in the market right now.
